2nd October : Konnekt sounding out to La Becque
Pat Thomas at Temple de La Tour-de-Peilz

Active in research and artistic, sound and musical creation, Konnekt promotes the emulation and development of sound arts as well as the bringing together of multiple cultural players.

Konnekt Association is a wonderfully engaged and supportive organisation to work with. Through them I was able to enjoy much needed restorative time and given the space and time to re-evaluate, renew and reconnect with my artistic work and also to share ideas and to be inspired by others. Konnekt provides an invaluable resource for musicians at any stage of their careers.

Pat Thomas : artist talk & concert - Konnekt sounding out to La Becque

Konnekt is delighted to welcome back Pat Thomas, a British pianist, keyboardist, composer and improviser, and a leading figure in the world of improvised and experimental music. For this latest invitation, Pat Thomas will be in residence at La Tour-de-Peilz, continuing the collaboration with La Becque, and will give a special concert at the end of his stay. This collaboration builds on a story that began in 2024 at cave12 in Geneva, with the Palestinian improviser Dirar Kalash, and which gave rise to the album ‘The Bliss Of Bliss’, now almost sold out. For Konnekt, this is what it’s all about: making an encounter the starting point for new collaborations, rather than a one-off event. The story with Pat Thomas is far from over.

BREATHCORE - Ariana museum Call for participants

We are looking for 50 choir members to take part in the participatory performance BREATHCORE.

To mark the exhibition ‘GLASS: TRANSCENDING MATTER – The Cirva Collections’, the Ariana Museum and Konnekt are hosting musician and performer Michael Schmid to present BREATHCORE, a participatory performance centred on the breath, which will take place in the museum’s main hall. With no conductor or score, the BREATHCORE choir explores breath as a collective force: synchronisation, sharing and non-verbal communication. Open to everyone! No musical or performance experience is required.
